Andrea Navedo
Andrea Navedo, an American writer and actress. She began her career on the soaps One Life to Live, Guiding Light. Later she played a variety of supporting roles on primetime TV. Andrea Navedo (born 10 October 1978 in The Bronx NY) is an American actor and a singer. Navedo began her professional acting career with soap operas for daytime viewers. From 1995 until 1997 she was a part of the cast as Linda Soto on the ABC soap show One Life to Live. She was cast in Guiding Light, a CBS soap-opera on CBS between 1999 and 2000 as Theresa Sandoval. She began her career in films with a part in Girl 6 (1996), then she starred on the episodes New York Undercover (1997) as well as The District. In 2001 Navedo was a co-star in the action comedy Double Take. Double Take and the following year in the drama film Washington Heights. Navedo worked as a recurring actor on the NBC drama series Law & Order between 2001 to 2004, as Detective Ana Cordova. Later he starred as Detective Ana Cordova in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages. Navedo was in a variety of movies including El Cantante (The Cantante) as well as Remember Me. Navedo has also played several characters who appeared in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2011-2013) as well as How to Make It in America Golden Boy. Superfast! is a film in which Navedo starred. The comedy film that satirizes The Fast and the Furious film series released in 2015. Navedo's career in the field began with daytime soaps. From 1995 to 1997 Navedo was Linda Soto in ABC's One Life to Live. Then, in 1999, she made her debut as Theresa Sandoval in the CBS soap drama Guiding Light. In 1996 she made her first appearance on film, playing a character on the film Girl 6. She later appeared as a guest star for New York Undercover (1996) and The District. In 2001 Navedo was a co-star in the action-comedy film Double Take.
